Here is a new game I heard of, I call it Wheel Of Tolkien. What you do is find a word or phrase from LOTR and write it out in spaces *example* _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
and everybody takes turns guessing letters till someone guesses what the puzzle is. Got that? I'll go first

A thing from LOTR. _ _ _ _ _ _, _ _, _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

When you pick your new word or phrase, be sure to check it against the list of used words at the bottom of this post. And you may now pick from The Hobbit, LotR, or The Silmarillion.

Contestants may only have one letter in play until their last one has been ruled upon. However, you may guess multiples of the same letter if you want to show-off your great skill or ignorance: there isn't any credit or penalty for so doing.

The person to post the last correct letter or to guess the complete puzzle is charged to make the next puzzle and try to maintain it daily, or pass the honor on to someone who can.

If it is a long word, sometimes it is nice to also write how many letters
i.e. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ (13 letters)

Also It is best to break up words with / when there is no punctuation between them and I also add an extra space between each letter and around punctuation; and then highlight everything with bold text. So Stonehelm's above example would look like:
_ _ _ _ _ _ , _ _ , _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ when I enter it (where B = lower case b) and then it will show up as: _ _ _ _ _ _ , _ _ , _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

When it is my puzzle, I like to give all the correct letter guessers credit, and to maintain a list of the incorrect letters in alphabetical order to make it easier for follow on guessers.

Here is the word list from Old P-T. This is the word list that already have been used for this game. I will try to keep it up to date. Let me know if I have missed any.
