I'm listening to the Angels game on the radio. We're playing the Twins, and it's still 0-0 going into the bottom of the 2nd.
After listening to the waves slapping against the side of the boat for the past week or so I'm kind of missing the sound. I've gone nearly two weeks without music now, and kind of like listening to the sound of the breeze outside rustling the trees, the birds chirping and a dove on my roof cooing.
Contemplating listening to Black Sabbath's Heaven and Hell but I keep changing my mind each time I get to the stereo.

Right now I’m listening to a local radio station called KCSB, and the specific show I’m listening to is called ’Bluesland’. It’s a three-hour show once a week on Monday’s that plays nothing but the Blues, and is basically the only thing I listen to on the radio these days, unless I’m listening to a baseball game that’s not on T.V.
Anyway, I’m curious to hear if they play any of our music on the show today because I think we have started to get some airplay on that station (they also have a couple of other Blues programs on the weekend).
Thanks Elfstone. That sounds like an interesting radio station. I wish we had a better choice out here. Nothing but pop in NM! I don't listen to the radio much either, once in a while I will listen to the classical station, or some classic rock station.

Melian have you ever heard of the Assad brothers? You should check out the album entitled Sergio & Odair Assad Play Piazzolla (Nonesuch Records, 2001). It might be kind of hard to find, but it’s well worth it! I have a pretty decent record collection if I do say so myself, and that record is without a doubt one of the best records I own! Absolutely mind-blowing!!!

Hi Laurelindhe! No worries about the questions, I don’t mind answering! Generally, as long as I’ve had my coffee, I’m usually a very friendly and accessible person.
Anyway, I’m an aspiring professional blues guitarist/songwriter, and I currently play in an acoustic blues duo with one of my best friends, and longtime musical collaborators. We are based out of Santa Barbara California, and are currently performing in, and around the Southern California area.
The name of our first album together as an acoustic blues duo is called Time After ’While. If you (or anyone else) would like some more info about us, just send me a PM (private message) here, and I would be happy to tell you some more, and provide you with a link to our website if you’re interested.

The majority of our repertoire consists of pre-WW2 style Country and Delta style acoustic blues, but we also mix in material from other genres sometimes as well. We do traditionals, standards, covers, and original material.

Assad brothers. . . It seems like I have seen that title before. I will check into that. The version I had was played by Yo-Yo Ma.
I am always impressed when a musician is able to get work! I am an aspiring singer (opera and otherwise) and I know how competitive it is out there. Good job !
Anyway, to stay on subject, I am listening to the tv, background noise.

I feel the same way. I tend to like the older ones from the Baroque period a lot. I don't care much for Wagner ,perhaps due to my short attention span

For those that have never heard the modern myth, supposedly if you listen to PF's Dark Side of the Moon at the exact same time you are watching the above mentioned movie, you are supposed to get some hidden meaning out of WoO...or something like that...of course, that might have been an idea thought up by someone experimenting with certain things...you know...beyond the old Longbottom Leaf...

Listening to the Angels vs. the D-rays in the rubber match of the series. We were up 8-0 going into the bottom of the 7th after Josh Paul hit a grand slam, but then John Lackey who had been pitching an excellent game for us just gave up 4 runs in the bottom of the 7th, and blew his shut out bid. Now 8-4 headed into the top of the 8th. Hold on Halo's, we need this one big time today!!!

I am listening to a piece on the piano played by ME composed by ME. It's so cool. But I've arranged it for two pianos, a guitar, a flute, and a bass. So I've recorded one piano on tape, and I'm playing the other part to the tape. It's SOOOOO cool. One piano goes da di da di da di da di da di dadada di da.... And the other goes da dadadadidadada da dadadadidadada..... It is SO SO cool.
