A Canticle for Leibowitz as dramatized by NPR back in 1981; I just got it on CDs.
I left Media Player on repeat so I have listened to the two cds of The Darlings of Wapping..... over and over...... but they are so good.

Nothing at the moment. I wish I was listening to Poetic Tragidy by The Used because it is possible my favorite song right now! Yep good song!!!
Aerosmith's Greatest Hits earlier and now Rob Dougan's Furious Angels album
Faith Hill, we just gave it to my mom for Mother's Day!!! Good News!!!! I found my Return of the King Soundtrack!!! It's been missing for months!!!!! my parents must have found while cleaning the house some time or something because when I looked in the cupboard we keep our cds there it was on top of the pile!!!! I wonder who put it there?.?.? Do do do do do do do do ( you can't tell but those do's are supposed to be read to the twilet zone theme).
Horrid radio. Really everything on the radio these days sounds like it is preformed by drunk orcs!
I

But I'm sure we are not listening to the same radio station! Tongue Smilie

Listening to my printer, printing out my essay.

Yup, and that's exactly why I stopped listening to basically anything on the radio about 10 years ago! The only time I really listen to the radio these days is for the occasional basketball, or baseball game that for whatever reason I can’t see on T.V.

For example, if the Angels vs. the Yankees aren’t on T.V. out here today (here being Ca.), I’ll be listening to the game on the radio! Go Halos!!!

Right now I’m enjoying the sound of silence, the hum of my CPU, and a few birds chirping outside my window!
Look Around Smilie
I was listening ACDC before but now its 23.03 so i cant play any music no more
Nantucket Sleighride by Mountain
I am listening to elfstone singing "Down easy". Shocked Elf Smilie I love the CD buddy! It is beyond and above great! Big Smile Smilie *starts a fan club*
Down Easy is one of my favourites. I love the guitar work in that one. At this rate, Elfie will have fansites all over the world.
As in our Elfstone? Details....

Listening to I - Robot by Alan parsons Project.

Good one Val?

Elfie's 'Hey, Hey Baby' from their CD. His website isn't yet interactive yet, or I'd post the link, he and his buddies play some real mean blues. Cool Elf Smilie

If I was him I'd post a blurb to where it can be purchased in our Advertisments Section.
Wow, cool Elfie! Happy Elf Smilie I'll have to hear some of your music sometime.

Currently listening to U2 - One.. And soon Linda Ronstadt - Tracks of My Tears. Smile Smilie

Ooooooh go on Elfstone! I love blues. And R&B.

Listening to Jim Moray 'Sweet England' - strange sort of electronic but somehow traditional English folk. Tends to screw up Media Player every time I play the cd on my pc though.....

Talking about radio...... a Merry Can of my acquaintance listens to UK's Virgin Radio. He reckons it is better than any Merry Can radio. If I listened to the radio, which I don't, I would listen to Virgin.

Blind Guardian - When Time Stands Still At The Iron Hills

Great!

(And the annoying screaming of children, library at school, jippy!!!! Rolling Eyes Smilie )
Nina Simone - My baby just cares for me.

Great! Thumbs Up Smilie
Pippin- We got magic to do......just for you.
We are preforming today and I had to practice singing.
LaLaLaLaLa
Hans Teeuwen-Dat dan weer wel

Dutch stand up comedian, my favorite!

Thanks Ama! I sincerely appreciate the kind words, and I’m glad you like our CD! Happy Elf Smilie

Thanks Val! All of my guitar parts on that one were basically improvised on the spot the last day of recording in the studio. Originally, there was going to be Mandolin on that track as well, but those parts didn't come off, and I had to pull something out of thin air quick! My producer and I really shared a magical moment that day in the studio together, and so far that specific day is still one of the most special musical moments of my life for many reasons!

Thanks Grondy! Okay where to begin, I guess first, I’d always planned at some point to post a link to our website once it was finished for anyone here that might be interested in what I do in ’real life’ so to speak. However, at this time our website is only about half way finished, so I’m going to hold off on posting something in the advertisements section until it’s a little bit more complete.

Our album is available for purchase a few ways however, and anyone who buys a copy of our CD supports us directly, and helps us out tremendously! For now, if anyone here is interested, just PM me, and I’ll give you the details (anyone can purchase a copy from me directly). There is also a site on the web where people can sample 6 of the 11 tracks on our CD, read about us, and also purchase the CD, but I’ll wait and mention what that site is once I post in the advertisements section.

A little history on our song Down Easy, that was actually the first song that my current partner and I wrote together almost 10 years ago now. We used to play that one in an old band that we were in together a few years back. Everyone seems to love that song, so much so that we decided to put it on our first CD together as an acoustic blues duo as sort of an homage to our past history together, and also because that song just basically refuses to die!

People like it so much in fact that we have started playing it live at some of our shows again recently, and probably will do another version of it on our next record (you guys heard it here first before anyone). The version that is on our current CD is slightly different from the way we used to play it, and we have gone back to playing it the way we used to in our old band. If you like the new version, I think you’ll like the original version much better!

Anyway, thanks so much again guys for all of the kind words and support, it really means a lot to us, and we appreciate it wholeheartedly!

My parents are watching the news in the backround. Their talking about that guy who sold those steaks that he said were good quality but the weren't!!!! Shocked Smilie Du Du Dun Dun!!

And my dog is barking at something down stairs!! Who knows what evil could be lurking in our unfinished basement!!! I betch ya it's my crabby sister!! Just kidding!!
Quite interested in that CD of yours, Elfie. I'll let you know something! Big Smile Smilie

Currently listening to the hum of the computers, and a girl next to me blowing her nose.
Chevelle....I really like this band. And The Reason by Hoobastank.
I love that song by Hoobastank. Happy Elf Smilie
Badly Drawn Boy - Silent Sigh (I've been listening to this song all week). Wiggle Smilie
Jethro Tull - Songs from the Wood
They are great!!! You gota listen to them!!!
Listening to: Superman - Five For Fighting
I love that one!
I was listening to Superman as well, but it was the gazillionth rerun of "Lois and Clark, the new adventures of Superman." So I switched channal and found the gazillionth and one rerun of MacGyver in stead. Oh joy!

Ahh better. World Idol Kurt Nilsen with "Here she comes".

The Norwegian idol-final is today, they sing lovely but compared to Kurt they aren't much.
I love that Silent Sigh song!! It's kinda neat. Listening at the moment to Matchbox 20.

I heard that Kurt guy sing in the special world idol thing. He was pretty good. These shows are such a crock though. I've been watchuing american idol and it's ridiculous how people are voting for the singers who have the least amount of talent but only cuz they look good are are "cute".

Ah! Thank you, Amari’! Now I know I'm not missing out on something, not watching TV for a year. I'll catch (or hopefully not) the reruns of the reruns next year..
You are not missing a thing Fishyboy! Except Team Antonsen, that was hilarious! But if I am not mistaken it will come on DVD soon anyway. Hopefully they will get together and make more shows.

Oh it's the same thing here. 16 year old Sandra, so cute, so pretty, so innocent, so popular with the teenage male voters. Her singing did improve but honestly, she'd be eaten alive by the world idol judges! What are people thinking? *rolls eyes*
I CANT STAND THOSE IDOL CONTESTS!!!! They are hear in Cro too!!! I mean its just insulting to see someone make such a fool out of themselves!!!

Anyway, im lisening to the soundtrack from the first and second LOTR,Gladiator, Robin Hood(Kevin Costner),Bram Stoker, Fifth Element and so on... All really great stuff. My friend made a compilation on a disc and i love lisening it!!!
Listening to my mom drying her hair in the bathroom next door. *sigh*
I'm listening to whirr of the fan in my slightly old computer. And the -click- of my fingers on the keyboard... How boring, I'm gonna listen to Headstrong, by Trapt, they ROCK!!!!!! Yay, post #60! Off topic, sorry!
The Eurovision Song Contest is on, although Im only listening to Terry Wogan's patronising commentary cause the guy makes me laugh!

Come on UK!!

Yup, and even more ridiculous Ringy because your statement pretty much sums up the entire state of the major label music industry these days!

The best musicians out there most of the time now are the ones you’ve never heard of, or probably never will, and it’s too bad!
Elf Rolling Eyes Smilie
I'm listening the norwegian song in the eurovision song contest, I've heard worse.
well, if ive ever seen a worse case of rigging a contest, the Eurovision Song Contest wins the title every year, what a load of tosh, it has to be the most politically voted contest in the world, at least we scored points this year

Elton John - Don't go Breaking my Heart Smile Smilie
Ooh, I like that song, LadyFeawen! Big Smile Smilie

I

Yes, you did, but we didn't! Well, we got 7. Rolling Eyes Smilie

Anyway, currently listening to the ticking sound of the clock in my father's office.
Hihi! We got 3. Big Smile Smilie "Friendly neighbour points" from Sweden. Doesn't really count, I think.. Haven't heard the Norwegian song this year. Suspect that is a good thing! Tongue Smilie

At least I think we are very much in the lead in the "most-loosing country"-contest, and the "most frequent zero points"-contest. Very Big Grin Smilie Dunce Smilie

Yes, very true! Go get DC++ and start downloading!! (In spite of what RIAA tries to tell you, most of the music available online can be dowloaded legally and with the artist's blessing. Sadly most kiddies only download Britney Spears and similar, but....)
currently listening to 'Everybody Got Their Something' by Nikka Costa
My rendition of the Bach Branderburg Concerto No. 4 in G Major. Which I made on my Commodore in 1997; it has held up well, but being in stereo and that I've fine tuned the strings a little more since it was published on LOADSTAR has helped.

Now I'm listening to some clasical guitar by T’rrega, Albeniz, and Granados whivh I also did.
Animals by PInk Floyd. One of the greatest albums of all time. Before you start plastic everything after the delicate sound of thunder is just as credible as before!
The radio playing "Love in an elevator" - Aerosmith.

Fantastic song! Big Smile Smilie
Grondy - Brandenburgs are great! But a Commodore??????? Wow!

Pink Floyd are great - just finished listening to Wish You Were Here.

Aerosmith - Hmmmmm great bopping song I admit.

I am listening for the first time to Dido cds. Bit samey but moody, mellow and mildly depressing which suits me fine at the moment. Like the lyrics.

Quote:
I will go down with the ship
And I won't put my hands up and surrender
There will be no white flag above my door,
I'm in love and always will be.

White Flag - Dido

Quote:

While my heart is a shield and I won't let it down
While I am so afraid to fail so I won't even try
Well how can I say I'm alive.

Life for Rent - Dido

You will find me standing by

I'd like to hold you still
Remind you of all you've missed

Do You Have a Little Time - Dido
Dido the music which is best discribed as,; Something to listen to because people sy its godd but in actual fact is just utter tripe!
Well she's not godd but I like it. If you don't then don't listen to it. It is something I could only listen to when in a certain mood.

I've moved on now to The Small Faces - Darlings of Wapping Wharf Launderette - again!

Great CDs - if you haven't listened to them do so!
I like Dido's music, considering the "utter tripe' that my local stations prefere to blare from their antennas Dido is a welcome relief!.
I agree Dido is very much mood music, you have to be in a certain mellowed mood to listen to her albums, not somethng you can listen to all the time

Currently listening to Sgt Peppers Lonely Heart Club Band.....last song, Day In The Life
