Grond-By 'not Beleriand' I mean it was not in Beleriand, therfore the answer you have citied, 'Estolad' is incorrect since it was Amrod's alnd in Belriand to the South-East of Doriath. Sorry if i was unclear on the Beleriand thing. the answer to your question is Mushrooms btw.

I thought I might be able to find it with the help of my Robert Foster's. So let's see, it's not Estolad - I'd be surprised if it is Hildorien, because that's where they awoke, but yes of course that could be it too... - Tauron, if you mean Ossiriand, no that's in Beleriand too I'm afraid, and if you do mean Ossiland, then I don't know what you mean, because I don't know Ossiland.
Hrmm. Still checking: it says under "Dunadain" that they sailed to Numenor in the second age, but after the fall of Numenor they founded Arnor and Gondor (and that's ME already, so that's not going back far enough.
Under "Variags" it says: race of men who lived in Khand, which is a realm south-east of Mordor, so again not far back enough...

Peredhil's "Hildorien" is the best I can come up with using the Silmarillion. If it is further narrowed down in one of the HOME books, it is beyond the scope of my knowledge.

Hildorien is incoorrect. It is in HoMe. I will give my question another day if no one guesses correctly I will post a new one.

However, I will have to ask the person who correctly answers the last question to let the next question be up for 24 hours before you answer it so that other people who are asleep when I post the questions have a chance at them. Were I to post more than one question a day, I might run out of them or at least have to dig deeper to come up with new ones.

No, Treebeard didn't receive the key to Orthanc from Saruman until a couple hundred years later, when Saruman and Wormtongue were set free from their captivity in the tower after Sauron and Barad-dur had been destroyed and King Elessar had been crowned and married.
Beren the 19th ruling steward gave him the keys to Orthanc. I belive his father Eglamoth was still steward when Beren gave him the keys in T.A 2759 T.A.

And I'm guessing king Theoden would have been born in the Hall of Meduseld, and if not probably somewhere in Rohan.

Ok Grond I misunderstood the question..
Theoden was born (T.A. 2948) in Gondor, as were his first two sisters, possibly in Lossarnach, the home of Morwen his mother, or more probable in Minas Tirith where Thengel his father was stationed, when he served Turgon the Steward of Gondor until Thengel was recalled to Rohan to become King in T.A. 2953. 
Of course I may be wrong.
And yes, Findekano did have the correct Balrog answer, however, I may have been remiss in saying so and awarding the pretty bauble which went to him as does another for his Beren the Steward answer.

Nononono I didn’t mean that it was Saeros....I knew it wasn’t him but I knew that Daeron had a similar name(the ae) but I couldn’t figure out his name.....and I didn’t mean that Turin killed him but it was that he was so afraid of Turin that he fell down a cliff or something like that.....but Tommie is still right and I know that!!
