I am glad to hear you say that it is really funny. That is on my list for my next purchase. I can't wait to get it. I'd love too see more quotes from it some time.
The quote comes from The Harvard Lampoon's "Bored of the Rings" which I thought was really very funny, and a lot of other people around here hate with a passion. As to what grows on the underside of ferns? I have no idea, over to someone who has a decent education...
No spores are those things that keep the wind and other undesirables from entering my premises.

No, ski is a style of music that mixes swing and rock, and a couple other odds and ends, that was pretty popular a few years ago but has since died a swift yet horrible death THANK GOD!

Phew... take a breath ...
Thanks for the correction Grondy, I actually understood that. I am taking 10 perscriptions a day and that is more than usual. And pain pills really mess with my mind. At least you understood what I meant. I will be back online more consistantly next week I hope.
No ska is that beautiful wild blue yonder.

I hope that is what you meant, Prog. I kinda thought ska was more reggae. Cool Smilie
I really hope you didn't mean Ska Prog as it would show enormous ignorance if you had, what with Ska being the original Jamaican sound, preceding Reggae by a good 5 or 6 years, though since both Ska, Rock Steady, and any other Jamaican sounds are refferred to as Reggae these days (amusing as it was the last one to appear) many get confused. And a lot of people confuse Ska with the ever popular 2-tone explosion of the late '70s early '80s, this was fairly Ska-ish as it had the speed of the original, though was a different thing entirely. Anyhow, it was nothing like you description Prog, especially as Ska is seriously fantastic Music (check out early Desmond Dekker, Peter Tosh and Jimmy Cliff if you don't believe me) and is still very much alive and fantastically good, especially with the growth of the newer Ska/Punk movement spearheaded at the minute by bands such as Less than Jake and Me first and the Gimme Gimmes. Okay, lesson over....

No, Sky is a word used for finding out things you don't understand, one which you hear constantly from kids...
Sorry Plastic . That actually would be my limited knowledge of music which resulted in the choice of ska in response to Prog's riddle. I was concentrating more on a word to match sky and ska was it, even though I did mistakenly associate it with Reggae.Ignore Smilie

Just so Plastic's riddle doesn't get lost:

No, Sky is a word used for finding out things you don't understand, one which you hear constantly from kids...

No, why is a word used for finding out things you don't understand, clandestinely.
Well excuuuuuuuuuuuuuuse me! I didn't know it meant so much to you Plastic or I'd not have voiced my opinion, ignorant as it is. Granted, I know nothing about ska, where it came from, who invented it, blah blah blah... But it's just a game man.

Anywho...

Ummm, spy (??) havoc and let slip the dogs of war!

Nope, cry is what you use to change the color of cloth or your hair.
