Well, now you mention it, yes, preferrably with temps in the 50s-60s (10-20’ C.) However, I hate wind, and combinations of the three are hard to find. It rained today (yea!) very un-Central TX like.

Edit: the idea was to find another football fan, since I've only found one WoT fan. But when I say football, I mean the way we play it in TX, not association football, AKA soccer.

Well, I guess I'll just jump right back in 'cos a) the idea as I understood it was "get to know each other" so now ya'll can find out more about me than the fact that I'm in TX and love Tolkien and WoT (and football, but I said TX already,) and b) more importantly, sonnet 18... wow. I wrote an "Arwen succeeds Luthien" on it once, replacing summers day with autumn eve and going from there.
What can I say about the Elizabethan sonnet? Well, for starters it's a lot more accessible to the English speaker than Petrarch (bleah) since the latter presents the same challenges as translators of Dante encounter with terza rima; English is not a naturally rhyming language (although for those who like that sort of thing there's always Spencer.) However, that's not the attraction for me.
Have fun at Padre; it's certainly the place for Atanear. I'd invite you by while you're in San Atone (bleah, yuck, too dry,) but my place is a mess. OK, since I got no bites last time (and me and Miruvor are gettin' lonely in our new thread,) I'll try again:
